What is Vicious Seas?
Vicious Seas is an original pirate role-playing game on Roblox, inspired by anime pirate adventures. You start in the harbour town of Anchorfall, sail between sixteen islands across two seas, eat a Relic Fruit for its powers, train fighting styles and weapons, and take on island bosses, world bosses and raids, alone or with a crew.
Is Vicious Seas free to play?
Yes. The game is free on Roblox. Optional Robux purchases include passes such as faster XP and mastery, timed boosts, cosmetics, and nine Relic Fruits at a fixed, shown price. Nothing random is ever sold: no spins, loot boxes or rerolls. Levels, boss victories and pets are never for sale.
Can I play Vicious Seas now?
Yes. Vicious Seas is open to all players on Roblox, free to play, and the Play on Roblox buttons on this site lead to its Roblox page.
What devices does it run on?
Vicious Seas runs through Roblox on computers, phones and tablets. It has touch controls built for phones, keyboard and mouse, and gamepad support.
What are Relic Fruits?
Relic Fruits are the fruit powers of Vicious Seas. There are 45 in the game, in three kinds: Elemental, Arcane and Beast. Eating one gives you its moves and its look, and every eater pays the same price: the sea will not hold you up, so a fruit eater cannot swim.
How do I get my first Relic Fruit?
Every new captain chooses a first fruit free at the Tidemark Shrine in Anchorfall: Saltglass, Inkwell or Gullcry. More fruits wash up in the world, drop from bosses, grow on fruit trees and are sold by the fruit dealer for gold.
Is it a fruit game like other Roblox pirate games?
Vicious Seas shares the things players love about Roblox pirate and fruit games: fruit powers, sailing, bosses and levelling. Its islands, Relic Fruits, characters, creatures and story are all original to Vicious Seas.
How many islands and levels are there?
Sixteen islands across two seas, plus three havens at sea. The islands cover every level from 1 to 250. The First Sea runs from Anchorfall to the Chainstacks at level 175, where the Sundering Gate opens onto the Second Sea, the Sundered Main.
Who are the bosses?
Every island has a boss at its heart: Captain Brakka on Breaker Cay, Cassia Quill the Harbour Tallier in Tallyport, the Ebbmaw at Lowwater, Anselm Hask the Clockwarden in Ninefold, and eleven more. There are also three world bosses, three raids, four dungeons and the Gate Trials.
Can I play with friends?
Yes. Invite other captains to your crew and fight side by side: crewmates share the credit for every kill in full. Captains can also trade the items they earned, with both sides confirming.
Are there codes for Vicious Seas?
Yes. Open the Store in the game, choose Codes, type a code and choose Redeem. Each code works once per captain. The Codes page on this site lists every active code, its reward and the day it ends.
Is there an official Roblox group?
Yes: The Vicious Seas Company, the game’s official Roblox community. Members can fly the Company Colours crew flag, a free flag only members can choose. Join from the crew panel or the game’s menu with Join our group, or from the community’s Roblox page, linked at the foot of every page on this site.
Is there PvP?
Fighting other captains is off until you choose to turn it on, and Anchorfall is always safe. Captains who opt in can fight duels and earn bounties.
Is Vicious Seas suitable for children?
Vicious Seas carries the Roblox content maturity label Mild. Combat is fantasy fighting against pirates and sea creatures with no blood or gore, and fighting other players is opt-in. The game never asks for personal information. Chat and spending are controlled by Roblox account settings and parental controls. The Parents’ Guide has the details.
What else is there to do besides fighting?
Sail ten classes of ship, hunt crabs, fowl, goats and boar, cook 28 dishes, shoot at the Tallyport range, fish, dive, mine ore on Wintermast, follow treasure maps and riddles, find hidden places and earn Roblox badges.
How do I report a bug or get help?
In the game, choose Report a problem in the menu, pick what went wrong and add a short note. You can also email support@viciousseas.com with your Roblox username, the island you were on and what happened. For Roblox account, Robux or refund questions, contact Roblox Support.
Can I earn gold for reporting a bug?
Yes, in-game gold. Any captain can send a report from Report a problem in the game’s menu: a bug, being stuck, lag, something unfair, a way to cheat, or an idea. Nothing is paid when you send it. The crew reviews reports by hand, and only a report the crew confirms earns gold, measured against the gold of one typical kill at your level when you sent it: an idea the crew notes, or the first report of a problem others also reported, pays that much; a useful report pays twice that; a confirmed bug three times; a confirmed way to cheat, or an idea the crew builds, five times. Spam, rejected reports and reports with personal information pay nothing, and each report pays once. At most 2 reports pay in a day and 8 in any 7 days; gold over that limit waits and pays on another day. It arrives on its own the next time you play, or within about 5 minutes if you are online, with a card that shows the amount. Reports are kept for up to 90 days, and not every report earns gold.
