Who these terms are with
These terms are an agreement between you and Oracis Engineering LLC (“we”, “us”), which makes Vicious Seas and runs viciousseas.com. Our Privacy Policy and Cookie Notice explain how we handle information and form part of these terms.
Using the website
You may browse the site for your own personal use. Please do not misuse it: do not try to break into it, overload it, scrape it in bulk, get around its security, or use it for anything unlawful.
The team sign-in area is for members of our team only. Do not try to access it unless we have given you an account, and keep your sign-in details to yourself.
Playing on Roblox
Vicious Seas is played on Roblox. To play, you need a Roblox account, and your play is also governed by the Roblox Terms of Use and Roblox’s community standards. If these terms and Roblox’s terms disagree about your Roblox account or a Robux purchase, Roblox’s terms apply to that.
Virtual items and purchases
- Everything that can be bought in Vicious Seas is bought through Roblox with Robux. Roblox processes the payment; we never see your payment details.
- Virtual items, gold, boosts, passes and other game content have no cash value. They cannot be exchanged for real money, and they are not your property: buying or earning them gives you a personal, limited right to use them in the game.
- Refunds follow Roblox’s rules. Questions about a charge go to Roblox Support; if something you bought did not arrive in the game, write to us and we will look into it.
- We do not sell random rewards: no loot boxes, spins, chests or keys. Each item for sale gives a fixed, known thing.
- Players can trade only items earned in the game. Gold and anything bought with Robux cannot be traded. Buying, selling or trading game items or accounts for real money or for anything outside the game is not allowed.
- To keep the game fair and working, we may change, rebalance or retire game content, including items, prices and how things work. We will treat players fairly when we do.
Code of conduct
Vicious Seas is played by people of all ages. Keep it a place where everyone wants to sail. When you play or use the site:
- be respectful: no bullying, harassment, hate, threats or sexual content;
- never ask for or share personal information, yours or anyone else’s;
- play fair: no cheats, exploits, hacked clients, automation or bots, and report bugs rather than use them;
- no scams, including tricking other players in trades;
- do not pretend to be a member of our team or of Roblox staff;
- follow Roblox’s community standards at all times.
If you break these rules, we may remove progress or items gained unfairly, or stop you from playing, for a time or permanently. You can also report a player through Roblox’s own reporting tools.
Our intellectual property
Vicious Seas and its original world, including its name, logo, islands, characters, creatures, ships, story, names, art, music, sound and code, belong to Oracis Engineering LLC and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, sell, redistribute or create commercial products from them without our written permission.
If you send us ideas or feedback, you agree that we may use them freely, without any obligation to you.

Vicious Seas and Oracis Engineering LLC are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Roblox Corporation. Roblox is a trademark of Roblox Corporation.

The site links to other sites, such as Roblox. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or how they handle information. Their own terms and policies apply.
Disclaimers
We work hard to keep the site and the game running well, but we provide them “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no promises that they will always be available, free of errors or bugs, or that saved progress can never be lost, and we disclaim all implied warranties, including of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Some places do not allow these exclusions, so some of them may not apply to you.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Oracis Engineering LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of the site or the game. Our total liability for any claim about them is limited to the amount, if any, you paid us directly in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited, or your rights as a consumer under the law where you live.
Changes and ending access
We may update these terms. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page, and if a change is significant we will say so on this site before it takes effect. If you keep using the site or playing after a change, the updated terms apply. You can stop using the site and the game at any time. We may suspend or end access for anyone who breaks these terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws that apply where Oracis Engineering LLC is organised, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where the law where you live gives you the right to rely on its own rules and courts. If any part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies.
