Varric Holm, the Stormwright is the boss of Thunderhold, the island for levels 226 to 250. The fight is set for level 247.
The island’s quest names it: Defeat Varric Holm on the Thunderstair.
“Now the Stormwright. Up through the Stormgate to the Thunderstair.”
How the fight plays
He works the great rod on the Thunderstair, under a storm that never leaves.
Phases
- Charge. The Stormwright raises the great rod.
- Squall. Acolytes, call the storm down! They come.
- Tempest. The Stormwright fights with the sky behind him.
Before you go
- Bring a crew if you have one: every crewmate who helps shares the credit in full.
- Cook before the fight, and hit the cooking ring for a dish’s perfect twin.
- A boss fought alone enrages after about four minutes, so keep up the pressure.
