What it lets you do differently
Toll, then the Knell Line stuns longer.
You ring like a bell lost under the waves. Toll to knock foes back, send a low note rippling through a line of them, burst out in song and drop a ghostly bell from above.
Arcane fruits bend one strange law of the world.
Moves
- TollKey Z
- One deep toll knocks back whatever stands in front of you. Landing it readies your X to hit harder.
- Knell LineKey X
- A note so low it travels as a visible ripple through a line of foes.
- UndersongKey C
- The bell inside you swings; a ring of sound bursts out on every side.
- Drowned PealKey V
- A ghostly bell drops from above and peals as it lands on the ground ahead.
- Sunken CarillonKey F, its signature
- A ring of drowned bells tolls around you and draws every foe in.
Passive: Resonance
Every note you ring keeps humming: relic powers recover 8% faster.
Awakening
Hollowbell Awakened, the Choir Below. A whole drowned choir answers your bell: louder, longer notes, and a peal of many bells.
Its awakened move, Choir of Bells: A ring of ghostly bells rises around you and they all ring at once.
How to get the Hollowbell Fruit
- The fruit dealer. The keeper of the Tidemark Shrine stocks 4 fruits at a time, changed every 4 hours; when this one is in, it costs 180,000 gold, and only gold earned in play pays for a Legendary.
- Found in the world. Fruits appear on the islands for whoever finds them first.
- Rolled when you play. A chance of it from Captain Brakka, the Bellfounder, the Gloamhand or Mawreth when they fall (0.4%), a fruit tree, anywhere in the world (0.3%), a Saltrot raider (0.008%) and the Tidemark Shrine in Anchorfall, each tide (0.2%).
- In the store. Sold at a fixed, shown price. Nothing random is sold, and its awakening is never for sale.
The price of eating it
The sea refuses you. You sink instead of swimming; a Human eater slowly runs out of breath underwater and drowns. A Fishman eater still breathes, but sinks all the same. Every Relic Fruit carries the same price: mind the rail.
