What it lets you do differently
Freeze a patch of ground and fight from beside it.
You call the cold of the polar sea. Fan freezing spray, throw an icicle lance, lock foes in a prison of floes and calve a berg onto them.
Elemental fruits turn the body into a force of sea or weather.
Moves
- Hoarfrost FanKey Z
- A fan of freezing spray that stiffens whatever it touches.
- Icicle LanceKey X
- A long spear of ice flies straight and pierces up to two foes.
- Floe PrisonKey C
- Ice floes slam up in a ring around you; foes inside freeze in place. The ground stays foul for a few seconds and slows foes.
- Glacier CalvingKey V
- A berg-sized shard calves from the sky and smashes down ahead.
- Rime SpiresKey F, its signature
- Spires of sea ice burst up one after another along a long line.
Passive: Cold Blood
Frost in your veins numbs every wound: you take 6% less damage.
Awakening
Rimecall Awakened, the White Silence. The polar night answers you: your ice reaches further and bites deeper, and you can call a whiteout.
Its awakened move, Whiteout: A blizzard roars out in front of you and freezes every foe it swallows.
How to get the Rimecall Fruit
- The fruit dealer. The keeper of the Tidemark Shrine stocks 4 fruits at a time, changed every 4 hours; when this one is in, it costs 90,000 gold.
- Found in the world. Fruits appear on the islands for whoever finds them first.
- Rolled when you play. A chance of it from Captain Brakka, the Bellfounder, the Gloamhand or Mawreth when they fall (0.6%), a fruit tree, anywhere in the world (0.525%), a Saltrot raider (0.015%) and the Tidemark Shrine in Anchorfall, each tide (0.35%).
- In the store. Sold at a fixed, shown price. Nothing random is sold, and its awakening is never for sale.
The price of eating it
The sea refuses you. You sink instead of swimming; a Human eater slowly runs out of breath underwater and drowns. A Fishman eater still breathes, but sinks all the same. Every Relic Fruit carries the same price: mind the rail.
