What it lets you do differently
The lance's kick throws you clear: poke from outside reach.
Your body holds a squall. Lash with riptides, hurl a lance of wind and spray, and crown yourself in a whirlpool that throws everything back.
Elemental fruits turn the body into a force of sea or weather.
Moves
- Riptide LashKey Z
- A whip of seawater cracks across the space in front of you.
- Squall LanceKey X
- A straight spear of wind and spray that pierces up to three foes. Then you spring back out of reach.
- Maelstrom CrownKey C
- A whirlpool rises around you and hurls everything near outward.
- ThunderheadKey V
- A storm cloud breaks on the ground ahead in rain and lightning.
- Gale VortexKey F, its signature
- Wind spirals round you with lightning in it and drags every foe inward.
Passive: Tailwind
The squall in you never quite settles: relic powers recover 6% faster.
Awakening
Squallheart Awakened, the Eye of the Storm. Your squall becomes a hurricane: brighter, wider and faster, and you can stand in its eye.
Its awakened move, Eye of the Storm: The sky opens above you; a wall of wind and rain throws everything near into the air.
How to get the Squallheart Fruit
- The fruit dealer. The keeper of the Tidemark Shrine stocks 4 fruits at a time, changed every 4 hours; when this one is in, it costs 180,000 gold, and only gold earned in play pays for a Legendary.
- Found in the world. Fruits appear on the islands for whoever finds them first.
- Rolled when you play. A chance of it from Captain Brakka, the Bellfounder, the Gloamhand or Mawreth when they fall (0.5%), a fruit tree, anywhere in the world (0.375%), a Saltrot raider (0.01%) and the Tidemark Shrine in Anchorfall, each tide (0.25%).
- In the store. Sold at a fixed, shown price. Nothing random is sold, and its awakening is never for sale.
The price of eating it
The sea refuses you. You sink instead of swimming; a Human eater slowly runs out of breath underwater and drowns. A Fishman eater still breathes, but sinks all the same. Every Relic Fruit carries the same price: mind the rail.
