What it lets you do differently
Weigh a foe down with the jab, then land the slow Keel Drop on it.
Whatever you strike gains the weight of a sunk anchor. Pin a foe, drop a keel's weight on a crowd, or haul a distant enemy to your feet on a chain of pressure.
Arcane fruits bend one strange law of the world.
Moves
- Dead WeightKey Z
- Your palm lands and the foe is pinned under sudden, crushing weight. Foes it hits move slower for a moment.
- Keel DropKey X
- A keel's weight of pressure falls on the ground ahead and craters it.
- Undertow ChainKey C
- A chain of pressure hooks the foe you face and drags them to you.
- Fathom PressKey V
- The weight of the deep sea presses down on everything around you.
- Anchor RainKey F, its signature
- A rain of iron anchors falls on a spot far ahead.
Passive: Ballast
You carry an anchor's weight: blows move you less, and you take 5% less damage.
Awakening
Anchorweight Awakened, the Sunken Fleet. Your weight is now a wreck's: every power hits harder and reaches further.
Its awakened move, Abyssal Anchor: A sunken ship's anchor, chain and all, falls from nowhere onto the ground ahead and pins everything.
How to get the Anchorweight Fruit
- The fruit dealer. The keeper of the Tidemark Shrine stocks 4 fruits at a time, changed every 4 hours; when this one is in, it costs 45,000 gold.
- Found in the world. Fruits appear on the islands for whoever finds them first.
- Rolled when you play. A chance of it from Captain Brakka, the Bellfounder, the Gloamhand or Mawreth when they fall (1%), a fruit tree, anywhere in the world (0.9%), a Saltrot raider (0.05%) and the Tidemark Shrine in Anchorfall, each tide (0.6%).
- In the store. Sold at a fixed, shown price. Nothing random is sold, and its awakening is never for sale.
The price of eating it
The sea refuses you. You sink instead of swimming; a Human eater slowly runs out of breath underwater and drowns. A Fishman eater still breathes, but sinks all the same. Every Relic Fruit carries the same price: mind the rail.
